A round up of news stories this morning related to Tottenham Hotspur.
The Daily Mail has reported that Tottenham are one of several sides thought to hold an interest in Newcastle United youngster Olivier Kemen.
The paper claims that Tottenham are one of the sides to have already expressed an interest in signing the 19-year-old.
The paper doesn’t specify what sort of fee Newcastle would demand for any deal to happen.
The player left White Hart Lane for a move to Hamburg in 2012, when Spurs had a team which also included Luka Modric and Gareth Bale.
It was arguably the best collection of Tottenham Hotspur players in living memory.
“He was a fantastic player and that team with Bale, him and Modric was a pleasure to manage. I find it strange Spurs let him go when they did in 2012,” he said.
The Daily Mirror has reported that Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor and winger Aaron Lennon, have both been made to train with the club’s under-21 side.
Both players could be heading for the exit door according to the paper, with the new Premier League season now just over two weeks away.
Adebayor is being tipped for a loan move to Aston Villa and the paper also claims that Everton are interested in a permanent deal for Lennon.
