The Welshman has been linked with a return to his former club, but the rumour has been written off.
The agent of Leeds United striker Steve Morison has made it clear that his client is not set to leave Elland Road, amid reports of an apparent move to former club Millwall this summer recently doing the rounds.
Morison's agent spoke to respected Millwall football blog News At Den this morning where he revealed that Morison, who recently scored in a pre-season friendly against Eintracht Frankfurt, was not set to be on his way out of the club this summer:
“No one has contacted me or Steve.
“He’s in Austria with Leeds, he played a game last night (Tuesday) and scored. It’s totally rumour."
It had been reported by The Wharf that Millwall were keen on bringing the Welsh international back to The Den this summer. Morison has spent two loan spells at the London club already in his career. He scored five goals for the club in 20 appearances in the 20134-14 campaign.
Will Morison go?
The former Norwich City man has had his troubles at Leeds. He suffered a two-year goal drought at the club before netting v Charlton Athletic in March. He then went on to score again against Sheffield Wednesday the following weekend.
Leeds have plenty of striking options and added to them with the arrivals of Chris Wood and Lee Erwin this summer.
But with Billy Sharp seemingly Sheffield United-bound it would seem that Morison will be sticking around for now.
Hopefully he can hit the net on a more regular basis this season.
