Report: West Brom have no real interest in Yuto Nagatomo, Alassane Plea and Bryan Dabo

West Brom - The Hawthorns

West Brom have no plans to move for three reported transfer targets.

The Baggies have been linked with a host of transfer targets this summer, as Tony Pulis undergoes his first pre-season at the club, but a report in the Birmingham Mail has ruled out moves for three linked players.

According to the report, West Brom are not pursuing deals for Yuto Nagatomo of Internazionale, Nice forward Alassane Plea, or Bryan Dabo, currently with Montpellier in France.

All three players have been linked various times over the summer, with the Daily Mail claiming the interest in Plea and Dabo was concrete, whilst reported that Stoke and the Baggies have been fighting it out for Nagatomo, as he looks set to leave Inter this summer.

A move for Rickie Lambert looks to be on the verge of being completed, meaning that Plea is no longer needed as an attacking reinforcement, whilst strengthening the right-back position is not of vital importance this summer.

A new left-back is needed though, with James McClean and Chris Brunt featuring there in pre-season, but it appears as if Pulis has other targets in mind, ahead of Japanese international Nagatomo.

There is no reference in the report as to who Pulis is looking at to fill the problem position.
