According to Italy's Sportmediaset, Tottenham Hotspur could be helped by Mohamed Salah as they ready an £8.4 million bid for Jose Callejon.
The report states that Napoli are ready to fight Roma for the signature of Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah and could look to sell Callejon to raise the funds for the deal.
Tottenham are apparently set to offer £8.4 million for the Spanish international, but may have to raise their bid to £11.2 million in order to get the green light to conclude the deal.
Would Callejon be a good signing for Spurs?
The 28-year-old has been one of the standout players in Italy for the past two seasons now and would be considered quite a coup for Mauricio Pochettino's side.
He has the ability to play in a number of positions, notably up front and in wide attacking areas, so could be a very useful player for the coming season should Spurs look to sign him.
Pochettino already has a number of options in the areas mentioned. However, Callejon for the price mentioned is too good to turn down.
Anything below £15 million for the player should be seen as a bargain and Spurs should look to do everything to get the deal over the line.
