Besiktas winger Gokhan Tore could soon be heading to the English top-flight, after an unnamed Premier League side tabled a bid for the 23-year-old - according to Lig Tv.
TalkSPORT previously reported on Manchester City’s interest in the winger, who spent time with Chelsea as a youngster.
And now Turkish website Lig Tv is claiming a bid of some €18 million (£12.7m) has been tabled for the Besiktas star.
The report outlines how an England-based football management and agency firm has contacted the Super Lig giants over a potential move.
At this stage the Premier League club at the heart of the report remains unnamed, though City could yet face competition for the attacker.
Back in February, Tottenham Hotspur were also linked with a move for Tore, by the Daily Star, though the Lilywhites' interest in the 23-year-old appears to have cooled in recent months.
On the books at Stamford Bridge from 2009 to 2011, Tore has also spent time in the Bundesliga with Hamburg.
The winger also took in a brief stint with Russian club Rubin Kazan before settling with Besiktas in Turkey.
Born in Cologne, Germany, Tore has 22 caps for Turkey to his name, having qualified through his parents.
Manchester City have certainly been in the market for added creativity this summer, with suggests they may still be keen, but their big-money deal for Raheem Sterling has eased their need for reinforcements on the flanks, while reports of interest in Wolfsburg's Kevin De Bruyne - such as those covered in the Daily Mirror - refuse to go away.
