By the narrowest of margins, West Ham squeezed into the next round of the Europa League.
The Hammers made desperately hard work of their tie against Maltese side Birkirkara, losing the second leg 1-0, sending the game to extra-time, as it equalled their narrow lead from Upton Park a week ago.
It took a penalty shootout for the Hammers to progress, and set up the next round against Romanian side FC Astra, who beat Scottish club Inverness.
Their win caught the attention of former attacker Ravel Morrison, who took to Twitter to comment...
West Ham Great win— R (@morrisonravel) July 23, 2015
It is unclear whether Morrison is being genuine, or sarcastic, but to give him the benefit of the doubt, it appears he is glad his old side have progressed.
The England youth international is currently with Italian side Lazio, and revealed via his Twitter page earlier the same day he has been handed the number seven shirt this coming campaign, after impressing in pre-season.
