Recent Nottingham Forest trialist Dani Pinillos has indicated he is hopeful of winning a permanent contract with the club.
The Nottingham Post reported that Pinillos started the friendly match with Doncaster Rovers earlier this week, playing 77 minutes.
He is currently a free agent, leaving Cordoba when his contract ran out at the end of June.
Pinillos last night posted on his Instagram page, an image of himself in action wearing a Forest kit, with the accompanying message:
"Now in casita after a great experience, I hope to return soon "
The 22-year-old is a left-back, who seems to have grasped that he has a real opportunity to play for a highly regarded English club.
Even on his Instagram page there were comments from his Spanish followers noting Forest's two European Cup wins.
It is unclear from Forest's end when they will make a decision on Pinillos, or even if they have already, but it sounds from his comment as though he is back home for now.
From his perspective at least, he appears keen for an opportunity to build on his midweek appearance for the club.
