Jerome Thomas responds to Leeds United return talk on Twitter, is positive

So, what does Jerome Thomas think about a return to Leeds United?

Is that the sound of a left winger interested in a move to Leeds United?

Jerome Thomas has suggested via Twitter he would be open to a return to Elland Road, where he spent a short loan spell.

Amid the club's search for wide players, HITC ran an editorial yesterday asking whether former loanees Jerome Thomas and Jermaine Pennant, both free agents, would be worthy additions to the current squad.

The question sparked discussion among fans, with the possibility put via social media to Thomas himself, who responded positively.

Thomas was released by Premier League side Crystal Palace this summer, but should be fresher than most, having been kept on the sidelines for much of the season.

The winger played for Leeds for a very short loan spell in 2012/13, scoring once in seven games, but left a positive impression.

Leeds' squad is badly lacking quality wide players, particularly on the left, and Thomas would be a clear improvement on current options. On a free transfer it appears a no-brainer.
