Newcastle are reportedly pursuing Turkish youngster Taylan Antalyali.
According to Tutto Mercato Web, Newcastle are vying with Paris Saint-Germain and Sampdoria for the signature of Turkish midfielder Taylan Antalyali.
The Magpies have tied up the signatures of Georginio Wijnaldum and Aleksandar Mitrovic, and new manager Steve McClaren will now be looking to add more players to his squad ahead of the new season.
Italian site TMW report that Newcastle are interested in a deal to sign Genclerbiligi midfielder Taylan Antalyali, who is attracting plenty of admiring glances.
The Turkish Under-20 international only joined Genclerbiligi from Bursaspor last summer, but his performances appear to have caught the eye of a number of clubs.
The report suggests that French champions Paris Saint-Germain and Italian side Sampdoria are both interested in signing Antalyali, with a reported €1.5m price mooted.
Newcastle already have young midfielders such as Olivier Kemen, Mehdi Abeid and Gael Bigirimana at the club, so maybe McClaren should consider giving them a chance rather than bring in another youngster to his midfield ranks.
Antalyali's future is up in the air considering that there are a number of clubs considering moves for him, but PSG being able to offer Champions League football could give them the edge over Newcastle.
