Confirmed: Southampton line-up v Feyenoord - Clasie and Pelle face former club

Here is how Southampton will line up for this evening's friendly against Feyenoord...

Southampton starting XI: Stekelenburg, Cédric, Fonte, Yoshida, Targett; Clasie, Wanyama, S. Davis, Tadić, Mané; Pellè.

Southampton substitutes: K. Davis, Martina, Stephens, Long, Rodriguez, Debayo, Juanmi, McCarthy, Reed, Ward-Prowse.

Southampton are back in pre-season action again tonight, just days after hammering Dutch amateur side Quick '20 10-0 - and this time, it's Feyenoord facing the Saints.

The victory over Quick '20 came after a 3-0 win over Groningen last weekend, and Ronald Koeman's Dutch tour continues against his former club this evening.

Koeman left Feyenoord in order to take over at Southampton last summer, and makes his return to De Kuip with a virtually full strength Southampton side.

New signings Maarten Stekelenburg and Cedric start, whilst Jordy Clasie and Graziano Pelle - two former Feyenoord players from Koeman's time in charge - are also in the side.

The bench is strong too, with Shane Long, Jay Rodriguez, Juanmi and James Ward-Prowse all available to Koeman, in what promises to be a much sterner test than the game against Quick '20.

It's bound to be an emotional return for Koeman, Clasie and Pelle, but they will all be looking to give the Saints another pre-season win ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
