Southampton fans couldn't be blamed for double taking the scoreline in their latest fixture, as the Saints completed an astonishing 10-0 win over Dutch amateur league side KVV Quick '20.
The fact Ronald Koeman's side reached double figures in terms of goals scored wasn't even the most encouraging sign for the south coast side club though, with particular praise being deservedly given to the Saints' new look strike partnership of Graziano Pelle and Jay Rodriguez, who each managed to grab a hat-trick in the rout.
Elsewhere, there were goals for Jordan Turnbull, Juanmi and a brace for stand-in skipper Steven Davis, with the match also being notable as Jordy Clasie made his first start for the club.
The Netherlands international managed to bag an assist in the game, as he set up Rodriguez's first strike, although to be fair, if the 24-year-old was looking for a game to ease himself into, he could barely have picked a better fixture than the hugely one-sided affair against the Oldenzaal outfit, based in the fourth tier of Dutch football.
Particular credit goes to England forward Rodriguez though, who continues to look determined to make up for lost time ahead of the new season, after missing the entire campaign last year.
His and Pelle's chemistry could be an exciting new feature of Southampton once the season starts in August.
Below are a selection of comments from Twitter reflecting on the big win, with plenty congratulating Rodriguez on his comeback:
