Toby Alderweireld has been pictured making his Tottenham bow, after a protracted transfer from Atletico Madrid.
The Belgian international signed earlier this month, despite considerable interest from Southampton, where he spent last season on loan.
The defender started for Spurs earlier on Wednesday, playing in a behind closed doors friendly match against Brentford.
Spurs won the game 2-1, with strikes from youngsters Shaq Coulthirst and fellow debutant Dele Alli, both penalty kicks.
Alderweireld played the first half, as part of an experimental back four, alongside Danny Rose, and fellow new signings Kieran Trippier and Kevin Wimmer.
The quartet were replaced at half-time, for Kyle Walker, Federico Fazio, Jan Vertonghen and Ben Davies, and it was on their watch which Brentford scored their only goal of the game.
It is likely Spurs start their first game of the season away at Manchester United with a mix of both back fours, but for now Alderweireld has to wait to partner international teammate and former Ajax colleague Jan Vertonghen for his new club.
