Confirmed: Manchester United line-up v San Jose Earthquakes

Manchester United continue their tour of the US with a match against the Californian MLS outfit.

Manchester United starting XI vs San Jose Earthquakes: Johnstone, Darmian, Jones, Blind, Shaw, Carrick, Schneiderlin, Young, Mata, Memphis, Rooney

Manchester United take on their second opponent in the International Champions Cup when they face MLS side San Jose Earthquakes in California on Wednesday morning, 04:00am BST.

Louis van Gaal will look to further settle his side in the US, ahead of United's two glamour friendlies against Barcelona on Saturday and then Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday 29.

The Red Devils' opening match of the tour against Club America gave fans the chance to see a number of United's new signings in the famous red, white and black of the club, with former Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin grabbing the headlines with a goal on his debut.

Germany captain Bastian Schweinsteiger came on at half time for United, with Memphis Depay and Matteo Darmian joining Schneiderlin in coming off after the first 45 minutes.

All four players should play a part once again, while the likes of David De Gea, Antonio Valencia and Marouane Fellaini could also feature, after sitting out the game in Seattle.

Former Leicester and Watford left-sided player Jordan Stewart is a San Jose player some fans will be familiar with, and he may well be someone United supporters have somewhat of an affinity for considering the ex-England Under-21 man knows what it's like to score against Manchester City at the Etihad.
