According to L'Equipe, Newcastle United teenager Olivier Kemen could be set for a summer move, as his agent is speaking to AC Milan over a potential deal.
Kemen, 19, joined Newcastle from French side Metz in 2013, and despite being highly rated, the midfielder has yet to make a first team appearance for the Magpies.
Recent speculation from L'Equipe has suggested that Newcastle could lose Kemen, with Premier League rivals Liverpool and Tottenham both interested in signing the teenager.
Now, the French newspaper also report that AC Milan have opened talks with Kemen's agent over a potential move to the San Siro this summer.
It would certainly be a surprise move for Kemen to join the Italian giants having become the forgotten man at Newcastle, but it suggests that other teams are looking at the Frenchmen and seeing plenty of potential.
Should Newcastle try to keep Kemen?
New manager Steve McClaren will be looking to assess his squad this summer, but Magpies fans want to see young players emerging through the ranks and into the first team.
Given the calibre of the teams interested in signing Kemen, it seems that the midfielder should be given more of a chance in the Newcastle first team to prove just why he's so in demand.
Ultimately though, if Milan offer the Cameroon-born midfielder an opportunity to impress in Serie A, Newcastle could lose him regardless.
