Newcastle United's newest signing has been posing for the cameras.
Newcastle United have released pictures of their latest signing on their official Twitter account, with 20-year-old striker Aleksandar Mitrovic posing in a Magpies shirt.
The Serbian front-man is one of the most exciting young forwards in Europe having scored 43 goals in 89 matches for Anderlecht, 18 goals in 42 matches for Partizan Belgrade and seven goals in 26 games for FK Teleoptik.
When you consider the vast majority of those strikes occurred when Mitrovic was just a teenager, it is clear Newcastle have a real talent on their hands.
The forward has signed a five-year deal and moves for a fee in the region of £13million, and if he continues on his current trajectory that could ultimately prove to be a bargain.
Newcastle have also signed Georginio Wijnaldum this summer and with a couple more additions their new manager Steve McClaren will have a side that should do well in the Premier League next season.
Assuming Mitrovic secures a work permit he will then be hoping to start as he means to go on at St James’ Park.
