The Uruguayan striker wants his Barcelona colleague to stay at the Camp Nou.
With his future at Barcelona somewhat uncertain, Pedro Rodriguez has openly admitted he's mulling over a possible departure from the Catalan club. However, team-mate Luis Suarez believes he should seriously consider staying put.
In comments via Spanish outlet AS, the Uruguayan star explained: "It will be a personal decision and one he really meditate, but I don't want him to leave."
Of course, there's no shortage of clubs linked as possible destinations for Pedro, with Premier League apparently lining up top move for the Spain international.
A week ago, there was a report from Sport suggesting Liverpool were making the strongest overtures for the 27-year-old. Then in the last couple of days, rival Catalan outlet Mundo Deportivo hinted that Manchester United are now in pole position.
Add to that speculation the rumours suggesting Chelsea and Arsenal remain interested, then should he choose to leave Barcelona this summer, Pedro could be spoilt for choice regarding which club he opts for.
For now, Pedro is simply focusing on pre-season, with Barcelona currently based in Los Angeles, where they're preparing for their participation in the International Champions Cup series of games.
Intriguingly, Pedro could line up for Barcelona as they take on Manchester United next Saturday, when the two European giants clash in Santa Clara, California.
If the interest from the Red Devils is serious, the encounter could present an ideal opportunity Louis van Gaal to take a closer look at the player, whilst there's always the possibility of negotiations taking place behind the scenes.
