Andrej Kramaric netted in Leicester City's win over Lincoln.

Even despite the news Esteban Cambiasso will not be returning to the club, Leicester City have plenty of reasons to be positive heading into next season.

The attacking trio of Riyad Mahrez, Shinji Okazaki and Andrej Kramaric have the potential to cause real problems for Premier League defences, and put on a show in last night's friendly.

Granted it was just a pre-season game against lower league opposition in Lincoln City, but the Foxes ran out 3-1 winners even so.

Kramaric scored his side's third goal of the game, ensuring his efforts did not go unrewarded, finishing from the edge of the box after finding space.

The Croatian became Leicester's record signing in January, costing the club a fee of £9 million, as reported by The BBC.

The 24-year-old had attracted attention from across Europe, after netting 28 goals in 31 games for Rijeka, and Leicester were seen as fortunate to win the race for his signature.

Last season was however much about settling in for the forward, unable to take that prolific form straight into an ongoing Premier League season, netting just three goals in 15 games in all competitions.

His goal last night had fans excited, raising expectations for the season ahead, hopeful he can play a key role in 2015/16. Here is a look at how supporters reacted to his display via Twitter...
