Tom Adeyemi played his first minutes in a Leeds shirt against Frankfurt.
New loan signing Tom Adeyemi made his first appearance for Leeds United, making a positive early impression.
Adeyemi played the last half an hour of the pre-season friendly game against Eintracht Frankfurt, a 2-1 victory for the German side.
Leeds had gone 1-0 up through striker Steve Morison, but the home side's dominance eventually showed.
Adeyemi was brought on as a second half substitute, as part of a double change with Mirco Antenucci, on for Tommaso Bianchi and the ineffective Casper Sloth.
The Cardiff City loanee is a different option to the kind of players Leeds currently possess, due to his physical stature, and initial signs were that he is capable of playing a vital role for the club this season.
Adeyemi had told LUTV early this week how he was settling into life at the club comfortably, and he seemed to have no problems upon making his debut.
The 23-year-old faces a challenge to get up to speed, and win a place in the starting line-up, but as a complement for Alex Mowatt and Lewis Cook, especially while Luke Murphy is injured, he has every chance.
Here is a look at how Leeds fans reacted to the first sight of him in action...
Adeyemi looks a big lad, but also looks short of match fitness. Much more to come from him I'm sure lufc— Leeds Mad (@LeedsMad2012) July 21, 2015

This match is getting a bit tasty. Adeyemi looks like the right man for the job given his size. An imposing figure to say the least. #lufc— Tömmy LUFC (@tdski_LUFC) July 21, 2015
