West Brom fans react to McClean's performance against Richmond Kickers

West Bromwich Albion defeated Richmond Kickers on Sunday night but what did Baggies fans think of James McClean's performance?

West Bromwich Albion continued their pre-season campaign with a 2-1 victory against Richmond Kickers on Sunday night, with Brown Ideye and James McClean on target.

The latter’s goal was particularly impressive, as the summer signing opened the scoring from 25-yards after 16 minutes.

West Brom then found themselves pegged back before the resurgent Brown Ideye won it at the death, suggesting the Baggies are going to be a threat up front from a range of different players next season.

McClean may have made headlines for his actions prior to kick-off, but in terms of his performance the Republic of Ireland international impressed before he was replaced in the 74th minute.

West Brom signed McClean from Wigan Athletic back in June for a fee in the region of £1.5million and if he keeps scoring goals like this they will have bagged a bargain.
