Watford fans react on Twitter as Odion Ighalo scores his sixth goal in four games

Watford's Odion Ighalo took his pre-season tally to six goals in four games in Watford's latest victory.

Odion Ighalo made it six goals from four pre-season fixtures, as Watford finished their tour of Germany with a 2-0 victory over SC Paderborn 07.

Summer signing Matej Vydra gave the Hornets a first-half lead with a clinical finish after collecting a precision through-ball from Troy Deeney.

Ighalo, coming on as a second-half substitute, then doubled the advantage within minutes of entering the field after Ikechi Anya’s passed to him in space.

The Nigeria international is reaping the rewards of spending an entire pre-season with the Premier League new boys.

After an incredible debut campaign in England - in which he scored 20 goals in 35 Championship appearances - he looks set to make a real impact ahead of Watford's return to the top flight.

Next on the agenda for the 2014-15 second tier runners-up are further away friendlies against Dundee United and Cardiff City, ahead of a high-profile clash with UEFA Europa League holders, Sevilla, at Vicarage Road.

Here is how Watford fans reacted on Twitter as the prolific striker found the back of the net within minutes of entering the fray.
