HITC Sport understands former Blackpool midfielder Andrea Orlandi is a target for Indian side FC Pune City.
HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club that Indian Super League side FC Pune City are eyeing a move for former Blackpool and Swansea star Andrea Orlandi.
Orlandi, who finished as Blackpool's second highest goalscorer in the Championship last season, is a free agent after cancelling his contract at Bloomfield Road by mutual consent last month.
Blackpool had hoped to keep Orlandi at the club, but Orlandi opted to trigger an appearance clause allowing him to leave after completing 23 games.
A number of clubs at home and abroad have expressed an interest in Orlandi and FC Pune City, managed by former England captain David Platt are hoping to lure the former Barcelona man to India.
However, Orlandi is also weighing up offers from several Championship sides and the playmaker is thought to favour staying in England.
The likes of Burnley and Wigan are both keeping tabs on Orlandi's situation and are ready to offer the 30-year-old a deal to stay in England.
