Rodney Marsh thrives on controversy and the former forward has once again thrown a controversial view out on Twitter - this time aimed at Everton fans.
Indeed, seeing a tweet from an Everton supporter suggesting John Stones should remain at Goodison Park for another season in order to develop his game, Marsh responded by suggesting it hasn't done Ross Barkley any favours.
According to the ex-Manchester City and QPR man, Barkley has gone 'backwards' having stayed at Everton.
The story, of course, relates to Chelsea's reported £20 million bid for 21-year-old defender Stones. The Toffees are said to have rejected the opening offer, according to Sky Sports, but more could be on their way.

Marsh already goaded Aston Villa fans on Twitter on Friday afternoon after being proven 'right' about Fabian Delph.
The former forward's default stance, then, is clearly in favour of any player wanting to leave their current side for a 'bigger' club.
His point about Barkley, meanwhile, may be a valid one. In the case of Stones, though, it's hard to disagree that the defender could benefit from more playing time with Everton.
