Manchester City new boy Raheem Sterling booed by fans in Australia

"Are you saying 'boo or boourns'?"

It's been a crazy week for Raheem Sterling. He's gone from phoning in 'sick' at Liverpool, as reported by the Daily Mail, to moving to Manchester City for £49million, per the Telegraph, and now he's with his new club over in Australia.

With City playing their sister club Melbourne City FC, Sterling watched his new team-mates from the stands as Manuel Pellegrini's side came away 1-0 winners after a stunning volley by Samir Nasri in the 86th minute.

Sterling will have been hoping that the win and Fabian Delph's U-turn move to Manchester would have taken the spotlight off him a little bit... well he was VERY wrong! After the 20-year-old was spotted on the big screens in the ground, he was met with a barrage of boos and groans from fans of a Manchester City sister club!

One positive from this is Sterling smiled away the jeers. Surely he's getting in some good practice for the season to come. We literally can't wait to see what happens when City play Liverpool this season because we can only predict World War 3 will start and Sterling will need to be escorted out of Anfield by the SAS...
