Ugo Ehiogu's Tottenham Hotspur XI fell short against Peterborough United this afternoon.
A youthful Tottenham Hotspur XI suffered a 3-2 defeat to Peterborough United in their pre-season friendly at London Road on Saturday afternoon.
The Posh opened the scoring with half an hour played as Joe Gormley converted with a low finish from Michael Smith's cross. The hosts then extended their advantage just a few minutes after the break as Conor Washington fired into the back of the net.
Ugo Ehiogu's young Spurs side pulled one back through Shayon Harrison on the hour mark, before drawing level with just ten minutes remaining as Ismail Azzaoui made the most of the League One outfit's lacklustre defending.
However, it was not meant to be for the Lilywhites as, in the closing stages, Kyle Vassell stepped up to claim victory for the Posh. The striker's short range effort in the final five minutes ensured a third pre-season victory for his side.
