Confirmed: Celtic line-up to face Eibar - Logan Bailly handed first start

Here is how Celtic will line up for this evening's pre-season friendly against Eibar.

Celtic starting line-up: Bailly; Fisher, Boyata, van Dijk, Mulgrew; Brown, Bitton; Forrest, Ciftci, Armstrong; Griffiths.

Celtic substitutes: Fasan, Stokes, Lindsay, Tierney, Izaguirre, Janko, Scepovic, Rogic.

Celtic are back in pre-season action this evening as they take on Eibar in Spain, just a matter of days after kicking off their Champions League campaign.

The Bhoys beat Icelandic side Stjarnan 2-0 in the Champions League in midweek, but now return to playing pre-season friendlies, with Eibar the opposition today.

Manager Ronny Deila has named a strong side featuring the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Scott Brown and Leigh Griffiths, with some intriguing selections too.

New signing Logan Bailly starts in goal, whilst Nadir Ciftci seemingly starts in attack with Leigh Griffiths, with one of them likely feeding off the other.

Winger James Forrest gets a start, whilst Charlie Mulgrew features at left back - a position he hasn't played in for some time having mostly played at centre back and in defensive midfield of late.

Celtic will be hoping to follow up their win over Stjarnan with another victory today, in a good test against a decent Spanish side.
