Arsenal fans react to Santi Cazorla's man-of-the-match display versus Everton

Cazorla Corner

Santi Cazorla stole the show as Arsenal claimed victory in the Barclays Asia Trophy final.

As Arsenal cruised to a 3-1 victory over Everton in the Barclays Asia Trophy final, it was Santi Cazorla who set himself aside from the rest.

Standing in as the Gunners' temporary captain for the afternoon, the Spaniard led his team-mates by example, contributing a goal and two assists as the London outfit romped to victory in Singapore.

Cazorla was stand-out player of the two sides, not least for his contribution in the final third.

First he created the opening goal, playing an inch-perfect chipped through ball for Theo Walcott to run onto and score.

After half-time he put the ball in the back of the net himself - twisting and turning on the edge of the box before firing the ball into the bottom right-hand corner of the Everton goal.

He then capped his impressive display by playing a one-two with Mesut Ozil, which the German duly dispatched to confirm the Gunners' victory.

This was a performance that not only saw him crowned man-of-the match, but also player of the tournament. Naturally, Twitter responded in awe of the Arsenal playmaker's majestic display.
