The Spanish right-back has penned a new long-term deal with the North London club.
The 20-year-old had his breakthrough campaign in 2014-15, starring in the Gunners first team despite competition from the likes of Mathieu Debuchy and Calum Chambers.
He stood out with his blistering pace and purpose on the front foot, while also proving himself as a competitive defender.
As such, Bellerin has filed the void left by Bacary Sagna and is now widely regarded as Arsene Wenger’s first choice in the position ahead of next season.
The report on the Arsenal website does not confirm the length of the Spaniard’s new deal, just claiming it to be a ‘long-term’ agreement.
Bellerin joined the Emirates Stadium outfit from Barcelona youth system back in 2011, following in the footsteps of Cesc Fabregas by swapping the Catalan club for North London.
The Spain under-21 international started 17 Premier League games for the Gunners last term and will be a critical member of the team that looks to put forward a consistent title challenge in the forthcoming campaign.
