Anderlecht forward Aleksandar Mitrovic is poised to join Newcastle.
The Serbian hitman, 20, has smashed 44 goals in 90 games for Anderlecht, but now looks set to leave the Belgian club in favour of Newcastle United.
The Magpies are in desperate need of striking reinforcements this summer, and Mitrovic - a powerful target man - is seen as the man to solve Steve McClaren's problems in attack.
The Telegraph believe that Mitrovic is set to travel to Tyneside for a medical in the coming days, and the striker has now confirmed the move.
Using his official Facebook page, Mitrovic posted a farewell message to Anderlecht fans, adding that he will now be playing in black and white again - two years after leaving Partizan Belgrade.
"Its over! Again in black and white," said Mitrovic. "Thank you RSC Anderlecht! Thank you for everything!" he added ahead of his move.
What will Mitrovic bring to Newcastle?
A proven goalscorer during his time in Belgium and his native Serbia, Mitrovic is the striker Newcastle have been looking for after a dismal season last term.
Mitrovic is a big, strong target man who thrives in the air, providing Newcastle with a focal point for the likes of Ayoze Perez and Georginio Wijnaldum to work off.
With plenty of potential given his age, Mitrovic should be a fixture of the Newcastle side for some time yet - providing a bigger club doesn't come in to sign him at some point.
