AC Milan hoping to pip Premier League suitors in race for Valenciennes starlet Angelo Fulgini

AC Milan

HITC Sport understands the Serie A giants are the latest side to join the hunt for the Manchester United and Arsenal-linked full-back.

HITC Sport understands from sources close to a potential deal that AC Milan are hoping to beat a number of English clubs to the signing of Valenciennes defender Angelo Fulgini.

The 18-year-old is considered to be a top talent in France, making his senior breakthrough earlier this year.

His efforts have not gone unnoticed, with the highly-rated full-back drawing admiring glances from across Europe.

Among those to have scouted the France U19 international are Manchester United and Arsenal, as reported by the Express, with the Premier League heavyweights impressed by his potential.

The same report credits La Liga champions Barcelona with holding an interest, but advances from Italy could now see the youngster heading to Serie A.

The Ivory Coast-born right-back has emerged as a target for AC Milan as they continue their rebuilding process following a forgettable showing in 2014/15.

They will have to move quickly, though, if they are to fend off the interest from England and across the continent in a much sought-after talent.
