Rotherham United have released a video of Grant Ward's first goal for the club, and it was an impressive one.
Ward ran from the halfway line against non-league Parkgate before blasting the ball past the goalkeeper, to the applause of fans.
The 20-year-old was with the club as a trialist when he scored the goal, which cannot have hurt his cause to earn a loan deal with the Millers.
Central midfielder Ward has continued to impress, scoring four goals in three pre-season friendly matches.
The opposition will get tougher as his stint with the club progresses, but it is a positive early start for the Spurs fan.
Ward played seven times for Tottenham's under-21 side last season, scoring three goals and providing two assists. He also featured for the first team on the club's post-season tour of Asia in May.
