Rodney Marsh goads Villa fans on Twitter after being proven 'right' about Delph

The former Manchester City striker has a message for Aston Villa supporters.

Former Manchester City forward Rodney Marsh has goaded Aston Villa fans on Twitter after news broke that Fabian Delph's move to the Premier League giants is back on.

According to a series of news outlets, including BBC Sport, the Aston Villa midfielder is having a medical at Manchester City just days after declaring his allegiance to Tim Sherwood's side.

When Delph's recent announcement that he would be staying at Villa came about, Marsh took to Twitter to question the midfielder - both in terms of his short-sightedness and the fact that he spoke to Manchester City in the first place.

Now, the ex-City man has taken to social media to goad Aston Villa supporters after claiming to have been proven 'right' about Delph.

Words seem futile when it comes to describing this U-turn of a U-turn from the 25-year-old Aston Villa midfielder.

Has Raheem Sterling's move influenced him? And how will Scott Sinclair and Micah Richards feel that their advice will ultimately go ignored?

Or will Delph produce a third U-turn once his Manchester City medical is complete? Nothing is predictable anymore...
