Harry Kane was the breakout star of the 2014/15 season, and he will be looking to continue his form into 2015/16.
Having taken part in the European Under-21 Championships in the summer, Kane was offered an extended break by Spurs, returning almost two weeks later than some of his teammates.
He played an incredible amount of football last season, despite only really starting to feature consistently around Winter time, and will be expected to lead Tottenham’s attacking line for the coming season.
He will also be an England regular, and the pressure on his shoulders will be far increased than it has ever been before.
Kane’s 2014/15 season was a real fairytale, in which everyone got behind him due to the breakout success, but this coming campaign will be the one where he truly proves himself.
If able to continue with his incredible achievements, there will be no doubts about Kane’s true ability, and he could go down as one of the best English players of his generation.
Kane is now back in training, and he will be using the weeks in the run up to the season to ensure that he is back at top form when the campaign begins in earnest.
