The impressively named Ronaldo Vieira featured for the Leeds first team in pre-season.

Talented youngster Ronaldo Vieira was given a chance to show what he can do during Leeds United's pre-season fixtures this week.

The 16-year-old was used as a substitute in the 3-0 win over Tadcaster Albion, in which first team stars Mirco Antenucci, Billy Sharp and Souleymane Doukara scored the goals.

Ronaldo Vieira is not under contract at Leeds at present, but made an appearance for their under-21 side at the end of last season.

He impressed enough to be called up for the pre-season game and even make his debut in the friendly, which tells a lot about how highly Leeds rate him.

Remarkably Ronaldo has a brother named after another famous goalscoring Brazilian, who congratulated him on Twitter after his appearance.

The teenager will hope to do enough to earn a scholarship at Leeds, and come through their famed youth academy.

If he can, the attacking midfielder will be a memorable name who supporters will have high hopes for thanks to his combination of famous names.
