As seen above, Southampton have confirmed the signing of Feyenoord midfielder Jordy Clasie for a fee in the region of £8m, according to BBC Sport.
The Saints lost star midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin to Manchester United earlier this week, leaving manager Ronald Koeman with a huge gap to fill in his side.
However, the Dutchman has moved quickly to rectify the problem, reuniting with Feyenoord star Clasie having worked together during their time in Rotterdam.
Clasie, 24, has signed a five-year contract on the South Coast, and figures to play a key role alongside Victor Wanyama in what looks like an impressive Southampton midfield partnership.
The diminutive midfielder, who has earned 11 caps for the Netherlands national team, has been seen as a real bargain - and Southampton fans were delighted with his arrival.
Saints supporters took to Twitter to discuss the move, with almost unanimous approval, suggesting that he is the ideal replacement for Schneiderlin.
Here are some of the reactions from Saints fans on Twitter as Jordy Clasie signs, following Maarten Stekelenburg, Cuco Martina, Cedric Soares and Juanmi to St. Mary's Stadium...
