A round up of news stories this morning related to Arsenal.

The Daily Mail has reported that Arsenal will have to pay in the region of £35 million to sign Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon.

The Ligue One forward is named as a potential new attacking addition to the Arsenal squad, with Liverpool also thought to be interested.

However, Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has insisted any side interested in him will have to pay big for the privilege of signing him.

The Metro has reported that Arsenal could open talks with Real Madrid over a move for David Ospina.

With Iker Cassilas having left the Bernabeu, the Spanish side are searching for a new goalkeeper, with no sign they are about to poach David De Gea from Manchester United.

Ospina produced solid, if not flamboyant displays for the Gunners last year, with the paper claiming that Everton are also interested.

West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic has explained in the Daily Mail, why he’s confident ahead of his side’s Premier League opener against Arsenal.

West Ham are the visitors to the Emirates Stadium on the opening day of the new season, with Bilic talking about his time encountering Arsenal as manager of Besiktas last season.

He’s suggested it’s good to be playing the Gunners first up and he’s suggested he will look to make his team a fitter side than their opponents.

“It's good for the start, definitely - We were fitter than them. We had already played Feyenoord in the previous round and we were fitter,” said Bilic.
