Spurs have released a light blue shirt with dark blue panels down the front, alongside dark blue shorts and socks.
Tottenham Hotspur officially released their new away strip for next season earlier on Thursday, with many supporters giving their opinion on the kit on Twitter.
Being a mixture of light blue and darker horizontal stripes from the chest down to the bottom of the shirt, the strip continues the 'heritage' theme that is prominent on the club's home shirt, representing the stripes on the Tottenham plaque at White Hart Lane. Though the home shirt utilises these within the diagonal sash, the away shirt incorporates it in another manner, and it can be argued that both strips are particularly unique in the history of the club's shirt designs.
The sleeves of the shirt boast what looks like silver piping on the trim, while the strip looks to be rounded off by dark blue shorts similar to the home kit, as well as dark blue socks. Crucially for some Spurs fans, the logo of sponsors is not red like it is on the home shirt, but is white.
Looking at Tottenham's fixtures for the rest of the pre-season, it is possible the kit could be unveiled when Spurs play against the MLS All-Star side or Real Madrid, both of whom also play in white.
The kit will be available to buy on Friday 17 July
Below are some reactions from Spurs supporters on Twitter, which was mixed if generally landing on the positive side. Many paid homage to the recent white and gold meme that spread across the internet considering its colour choice:

I didn't like the new Spurs away kit when I saw it just by itself yesterday but I think it looks good on the players. #TottenhamAwayKit— Lee Charles Hunt. (@YidKid_1882) July 15, 2015
