The youngster has turned down a new contract at the Nou Camp to sign for the Potters.
Moha reportedly turned down Barcelona’s offer of a new contract in favour of a move to the Potters, where increased game time was arguably on offer.
He will link up with former Barca stars Bojan and Marc Muniesa, who have both benefitted from their first team places in Mark Hughes’ side and may have played a role in convincing him to move to England.
And Chief Executive Tony Scholes says the player is keen to develop similarly to that duo.
“Moha has seen the progress made by Bojan and Marc and wants to try and do likewise,” he told stokecityfc.com
“He’s excited about joining a Premier League club, especially one that already has two former Barcelona players in their squad.
At just 19, Moha is obviously a signing for the future but is certainly one for Stoke fans to be excited about.
The winger has already featured for Spain at youth level, while he was also called up to Morocco Under-23 squad last season and looks set to have a bright future if his development continues as it has.
Indeed, he was once courted by Real Madrid, showing the player Stoke have secured for themselves. He has arguably chosen Stoke for the chance of first team football, with increased game time sure to only further his rate of development.
More importantly, Stoke now have another youngster pushing on the first team, further highlighting the change they’ve undergone under Mark Hughes.
