Modric, Bale, Di Canio and more - Harry Redknapp's fantasy XI

The former Tottenham Hotspur, Queens Park Rangers and West Ham boss has picked an XI based on players he has managed.

Love him or hate him - and there are plenty who side with the latter - Harry Redknapp is synonymous with English football.

The sight (and sound) of the former Tottenham, West Ham United and QPR boss speaking through his car window during Transfer Deadline Day is as iconic as any in the modern game.

And Redknapp hasn't taken long to get his views back into the spotlight since leaving his position at QPR boss. Indeed, the 68-year-old has now joined Twitter and is full of things to say on social media.

Most recently, he has taken to Kicca to select a fantasy XI from players he has managed throughout his career.

Interestingly, the only QPR player he chose from his spell there was Rio Ferdinand - but that would have had more to do with his West Ham form. Also from his time at the Hammers, Redknapp went with iconic striker Paolo Di Canio.

From his time at Spurs, Redknapp went for two superstars in Gareth Bale and Luka Modric, as well as Tottenham legend Ledley King. Here's the full team - and it's not a bad one (Glen Johnson aside!):

Harry Redknapp's fantasy XI (3-5-2): David James, Glen Johnson, Stuart Pearce, Ledley King, Rio Ferdinand, Sol Campbell, Frank Lampard, Luka Modric, Gareth Bale, Ian Wright, Paolo Di Canio.
