Now all Liverpool's new players know what number they will wear on their back next season.
Liverpool have announced the squad numbers for their latest signings on their official website.
The Reds have been busy so far this summer, bringing in James Milner, Danny Ings, Adam Bogdan, Roberto Firmino, Nathaniel Clyne and Joe Gomez, and now all the players have been given their numbers ahead of what promises to be a very interesting campaign at Anfield.
Milner and Ings had already been allocated the numbers seven and 28 respectively but now it has been announced that Bogdan will wear 34, Clyne will wear 2, Gomez will wear number 12 and star signing Firmino is now number 11.
It has also been revealed that Divock Origi, who was previously on loan at French club Lille, will wear number 27 next season.
With so many new players at Liverpool the challenge for manager Brendan Rodgers is to ensure they all work effectively together but on paper at least he has done good business.
Milner on a free transfer is a wonderful move while Ings adds more goals, Clyne solves the right-back problem and Firmino has the talent to become one of the Premier League’s most exciting and effective players.
Only time will tell, but when you factor in the promising young players coming through the ranks at Anfield right now the future looks very bright for Liverpool and their fans.
