Amido Balde has officially left Celtic for Metz.
Amido Balde's transfer to Metz is complete, after the French club announced on their website they have signed the striker.
Balde signed a four year deal with Celtic in 2013, but struggled to hold down a place in the side.
Last season he was not part of manager Ronny Deila's plans, and was sent out on loan to Belgian side Beveren and later Israeli club Hapoel Tel Aviv.
Metz announced Balde has signed a two year contract, and will be presented at a press conference on Friday.
Balde made 24 competitive appearances for Celtic, scoring only three goals.
Last season he netted only one for Beveren in 15 games, and failed to score for Tel Aviv in nine matches.
His time at Metz is off to a positive start however, scoring in a pre-season friendly for the club at the weekend.
The club are currently in France's Ligue 2 and will be aiming to earn promotion this coming season, with 24-year-old Balde seen as a key figure in helping them doing so.
