The Hornets have been in Germany since Monday, and they take on SC Verl in the first game of their pre-season training camp.
Quique Sanchez Flores has already overseen two games in charge of Watford, winning 4-0 against St Albans last week, before managing a 2-2 draw with AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.
The first-team squad have traveled to Germany to continue their pre-season preparations away from prying eyes, with their tie against Verl the first of three games during the tour.
Verl currently play in the fourth tier of the German football pyramid, having been in the Regionalliga West since the 2008/09 season. They finished seventh last term, winning 15 games, and are currently managed by Andreas Golombek.
Watford have taken a strong squad to Germany, with only Juan Carlos Paredes (injury) and Miguel Layun (international duty) missing from the main selection. A group of highly rated youngsters have also travelled, as Flores looks to perfect his 4-2-3-1 system prior to the start of the season.
Although only playing against non-league opposition, the game will give Watford a chance to further prepare for the rigours of the Premier League, and this is how they line-up against Wednesday’s opponents SC Verl.
