Celtic Stands

Here is how Celtic will line up to face Stjarnan tonight...

Celtic starting XI: Gordon; Lustig, Boyata, Mulgrew, Izaguirre; Brown, Bitton; Mackay-Steven, Johansen, Armstrong; Ciftci.

Celtic substitutes: Ambrose, Griffiths, Stokes, Rogic, Bailly, Forrest, Fisher.

Celtic get their Champions League campaign underway tonight with the first leg of their qualifying tie against Icelandic outfit Stjarnan.

The Bhoys failed to make it to the group stage last season after a defeat to Maribor, but much more is expected of manager Ronny Deila this time around.

Celtic host Stjarnan tonight in the first leg of their qualifying match, and are widely expected to ease past their counterparts over the two legs.

Tonight, Deila has handed competitive debuts to new signings Dedryck Boyata and Nadir Ciftci, whilst newly-signed goalkeeper Logan Bailly is on the bench.

Centre back Virgil van Dijk is suspended having been sent off against Inter Milan in the Europa League last season, meaning Charlie Mulgrew starts at centre back.

The rest of the side features experienced stars such as Craig Gordon, Emilio Izaguirre, Scott Brown and Stefan Johansen, who will be expected to contribute heavily tonight and in the away leg.
