We bring you the latest news concerning West Ham United.
AC Milan are keen on signing Monaco centre-back Aymen Abdennour, and have submitted an offer to the Ligue 1 side of roughly £13.5 million. This is stated as being an insufficient offer to open negotiations concerning the transfer of the central defender, but Milan representatives are still in the principality looking to oversee a deal.
West Ham have previously made an offer for him, and their interest is referenced one again in the latest report, despite the confirmed transfer of Angelo Ogbonna.
Relating to Ogbonna, Slaven Bilic has admitted that a number of young players may now leave West Ham on loan for the 2015/16 season, with first-team chances limited.
Speaking to the official club website, head coach Bilic explained that Ogbonna’s arrival will mean young defenders are likely to be sent out on a temporary basis for the coming season to guarantee consistent playing time to continue their development.
However, one transfer does look to be over for the Hammers though, with TMW claiming they have ended their interest in Mattia Destro.
The report states that the Hammers are looking to sign proven Premier League forwards, rather than strikers from abroad with no guarantees they will adapt to English football.
