West Ham and Arsenal fans react on Twitter to Jenkinson loan deal

Arsenal right-back Carl Jenkinson will spend another season on loan at West Ham United so what do the two clubs' fans think of the move?

Earlier today Arsenal announced on their official website that right-back Carl Jenkinson had signed a new long-term deal at the club before heading back out on loan to West Ham United for another season.

The news is great for all concerned, with the talented full-back committing his future to the Gunners but still able to benefit a side where he shone last season.

The sheer number of quality right-backs at Arsenal right now means it was always going to be tough for the England under-21 international to get sufficient game-time; but he deserves it and now West Ham manager Slaven Bilic can benefit from his services as Sam Allardyce did before him.

Jenkinson played 36 times for West Ham last season impressing week in, week out, and that consistency in performance suggested he could have a future at the Emirates Stadium after all.

He has played a total of 57 matches for the Gunners since arriving from Charlton Athletic but last season he reached another level and West Ham now have another problem solved ahead of what promises to be a very exciting campaign at Upton Park.
