Leeds United have two friendlies on one night, and some of their first-team stars will feature for the under-21s.
While Leeds United’s senior side have a friendly against York City on Wednesday evening, their under-21s will also be in action against Tadcaster Albion at the same time.
Rosler cannot be in two places at once, and Leeds’ official Twitter account has confirmed that while the new gaffer will be overseeing the game against York, Julian Darby and Richard Hartis will be taking charge of the under-21s.
But more interestingly, Leeds have also confirmed that Rosler will be sending six or seven first-team stars to play against Tadcaster.
It is too early to know for certain if Rosler has made decisions regarding certain players, and if those decisions will be directly reflected by which match the Leeds men are chosen to feature in later this week, but it will still be interesting to see which players the latest tweet refers to.
It may be the case that Rosler wants to give everyone the chance to impress and using some in the fixture against Tadcaster and others against York will do that. But after some impressing showings against Harrogate last week – most notably from Lee Erwin – some Leeds players will know they are already playing for their futures.
