HITC Sport understands from sources close to the clubs that Arsenal and Chelsea are among a number of Europe's premier sides eyeing a move for Swedish starlet Niclas Eliasson.
Eliasson is regarded as one of the best young talents to emerge from Sweden in recent years and first caught the eye for Sweden at the Under-17 World Cup.
The skilful winger is currently plying his trade at AIK after joining the club in January 2014 from Falkenberg who he helped win the Superettan in his first full season at the club.
The speedy left-sided winger, who can also play up front, is being tracked by clubs all across Europe and he had a trial at Celtic in the past.
Arsenal have held a long-term interest in Eliasson having taken the wide man on trial prior to his move to AIK and they have continued to monitor his progress.
Chelsea have also been sending scouts to watch Eliasson in the last year and the 19-year-old has been earning rave reviews from Chelsea scouting team.
AIK are bracing themselves for interest in Eliasson and they are unlikely to stand in his way if they receive a big-money offer for him.
