Nottingham Forest: Evtimov; Riera, Mills, Wilson, McLaughlin; Burke, Paterson, Vaughan, Ward; Taylor, Henderson
Nottingham Forest’s preparations for the new season continue this evening with a friendly game against FC Helsingor.
Forest are still searching for their first win in pre-season following a defeat at the hands of Odense before a draw in their last game against Mjallby.
The friendly matches aren’t about results, but more about manager Dougie Freedman ensuring that the fitness levels of his players are improving healthily while judging which areas of his team need work ahead of the Championship returning.
Forest have four other friendly matches to play before the game against Brighton on August 7, with matches against Stevenage, Doncaster, Swansea City and Aston Villa after the game this evening.
It’s a real opportunity for current players, younger players and any trialists at the club to impress the boss and improve their chances of featuring regularly for one of the biggest clubs outside of the Premier League.
