The duo arrived after spells at Manchester City and Norwich City this summer.
New Aston Villa signings Micah Richards and Mark Bunn took part in the club's customary initiation ritual this weekend during their pre-season tour of Portugal, with defender Alan Hutton capturing a couple of videos and posting them to his Instagram account.
And though the players didn't have to do anything too unnerving to mark their arrival at Villa Park, Richards and Bunn did have to clamber onto a chair and belt out a song of their choosing with which to serenade their new teammates.
Former Norwich and Blackburn goalkeeper chose classic Lionel Ritchie track 'Hello' as his song, which seemed to delight the rest of watching squad.
Micah Richards went with a marginally more modern track with Usher's 1997 hit 'Nice and Slow', which had a few players singing along at the end of his clip.
Both players are set to be key figures in the Villa squad next season, with Richards having completed a high profile free-transfer switch form Champions Manchester City, and certain to be starter either at centre-back or right-back, and Bunn as back up to number one Brad Guzan.
Villa fans will be hoping their performances on the pitch are a little more respectable than their attempts to carry a tune.
