Former Manchester United and West Ham United prospect Ravel Morrison seems set to remain at Lazio despite being linked with Queens Park Rangers this summer.

Former Manchester United and West Ham United prospect Ravel Morrison has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight after scoring for his new club Lazio.

The 22-year-old midfielder scored twice for the Italian outfit in their 14-0 victory over Auronzo on Sunday.

It was Lazio’s first pre-season game, as they continued their preparations for the upcoming 2015-16 campaign.

Morrison, a former Queens Park Rangers and Cardiff City loanee, was delighted with his contribution to the result and posted the following message on Twitter after the win:

The youngster was actually linked to Championship outfit QPR this summer despite having signed a pre-contract with Lazio in the middle of the 2014-15 season.

According to a report in The Mirror earlier this month, talks regarding the move of the former England Under-21 international to Loftus Road were at an advanced stage.

However, Morrison seems set to remain at Lazio, who finished third in Serie A last season and stand a chance of playing in the group stage of the 2015-16 Champions League campaign.
