Liverpool may face Sterling style contract dispute with Jerome Sinclair

The young forward is yet to agree new terms and has been left out of the tour of Thailand as a result.

Liverpool could be facing a contract dispute with yet another of their young stars, this time Jerome Sinclair, reports the Liverpool Echo.

The youngster has a year left on his contract and both parties are naturally keen for a deal to be done, although as of yet, an agreement is yet to be made with the club.

That has led to tensions rising, with the Liverpool Echo claiming that a contract dispute is brewing at Anfield.

Indeed, things have gotten serious, with the young forward having been left out of the squad for the tour of the Far East and being sent to train with the U21’s in Ireland instead.

Liverpool may look to cash in while they can

This latest news comes on the back of the dispute with Raheem Sterling finally coming to an end, as the England man edges closer to a big money move to Manchester City.

And while Sinclair is not yet at the level Sterling is commanding, the Reds will have learned their lessons from that saga and indeed the Luis Suarez one before it, and may look to cash in on their starlet.

There would be interest in the player as well, with him having impressed in their Under 21 side scoring more than 20 times for them. Brendan Rodgers then, may see a sale the preferred choice, rather than embarking on another long standing set of negotiations with a young starlet once again.
